On June 8, 1987, number 81 on Denmark Street, in Jardim Europa, in São Paulo, opened its doors to welcome the public for the first JACKET.
The creation of the exhibition came about when Brazilian Yolanda Figueiredo and Argentine Angélica Rueda, during a trip to Buenos Aires, met with their friends Javier Campos Malbrán and Ernesto Del Castilho, who proposed organizing a decoration event. The Exhibition was held with the aim of being a socio-cultural and charitable event.
This first edition brought together 25 elite names in decoration, architecture and landscaping, and attracted more than 6 thousand visitors during the 20 days of exhibition. Part of the proceeds collected was donated to Associação Obra do Berço, initiating the brand's social commitment.
From this moment on the JACKET has become a national and international reference, influencing opinion makers and adding value to the brands with which it is associated.
In 2000, the founders sold the JACKET for Grupo Patrimônio Private Equity and in 2008, Grupo Abril and Grupo Dória acquired the exhibition in partnership. Since 2011, the Abril Group has been unique owner of JACKET.

A JACKET allows the public to have a different experience in specially designed environments, bringing innovations in various sectors such as furniture, art, coverings, technology, adornments and a lot of creativity, providing the experience (even if temporary) of spaces that represent dreams, beauty, well-being , quality of life.
Today we see greater integration in the environments with public leisure spaces (cafes, restaurants, convenience stores, bookstores and others, which has allowed Casacor to transform itself, going beyond an exhibition of environments, with artistic and cultural events.
