Book: The Body Speaks: The silent language of non-verbal communication.
Authors: Pierre Weil and Roland Tompakov Publisher: Vozes (74th Edition)
Consider this book a publicity phenomenon. The authors were interviewed by Jô Soares on SBT and Globo shortly after the launch. It is recommended in schools of Administration, Communication, Theater, Medicine and Social Work. We, in the area of architecture and design, are also reading it and we believe that Marketing should take advantage of this reading.
It teaches us, in a simple way, the language of our bodies and others. It is literacy, an initiation into body language. You may find the first few chapters weird, but I can guarantee that your outlook on the others will change.
You start paying attention to everything: the way you sit, stand, cross your arms, your gaze and that of others who come into contact with you. The text shows us that our own body holds the different phases of human evolution. This simple and vivid description is inspired by Pierre Well's doctoral thesis at the University of Paris.
The book has approximately 350 illustrations by Roland Tompaskov, known for his caricatures and former Communications professor on the Public Administration course at Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
I leave here my message for you to read the book. It's great to learn about ourselves to understand others.
