Moving Boundaries 2023, with the theme “Moving Boundaries: Human Sciences and the Future of Architecture”, brought together international speakers, including scientists, architects, historians and philosophers, all with excellence in their fields, providing discussions on the various facets of the impact of built environments on human health and well-being.
Moving Boundaries is designed to be a collaborative link between educators, scientists, professionals and students of architecture and design, as well as research and learning institutions, motivated by the ideas and creations of notable architects and critics such as Kenneth Frampton, Richard Neutra, Frank Lloyd Wright, Álvaro Siza, Louis Kahn, Alvar Aalto, Carlo Scarpa, Luis Barragán, Balkrishna Doshi and Juhani Pallasmaa.
The great legacy of these professionals demands that we see design from a more humanized perspective, committed to personal progress and focused on the physical health and psychological well-being of human beings. The entire event was conducted with great competence by the management and organizers, as well as by the speakers, students and other participants.
