This project was developed for a couple in their 40s, with a 9-year-old son. The husband is a graphic designer and the wife is a publicist..

The idea was to take advantage of the existing sideboard, install a larger TV and create an environment with industrial style elements. To enhance the industrial style, we opted for the installation of English bricks (bricks) and a side slope that contributes to a more relaxed atmosphere. The general lighting of the environment was provided by rails with directional spots, enhancing the designer's paintings and the entire environment.

The piece of furniture was created in black MDF, with niches and slatted sliding doors. These doors can be moved to close niches or the sideboard, creating different scenarios. Inside the shelf, mini LED spots were installed, which enhance the pieces on display. A comfy sofa provides a cozy spot to watch TV, while a light nautical fiber rug provides comfort for plopping down on the floor.

The veranda adjacent to the living room has a vertical garden, contributing to an atmosphere of decompression and relaxation. Two cozy armchairs have been added for reading, chatting or enjoying a drink. A round rug delimits the space, and a voile gauze curtain creates shading.

This project demonstrates that an environment that meets the needs of customers does not need to discard everything they already have and buy everything new, transforming the house into an impersonal showroom. The project must be the portrait of the residents, reflecting their identity.
